Change Bluetooth® Name and PIN

The Bluetooth® name is the name of the guitar appearing in Bluetooth® settings and Bluetooth® scans.
The Bluetooth® PIN is the password that is required for pairing and connecting to the guitar.

By changing the Bluetooth® PIN, unwanted access to your guitar can be prevented in case of situations where:

• the guitar is unattended in PR mode
• the guitar is not connected to the app (the LED flashes red)
• unauthorized persons are able to be in the proximity of 33 feet (10 m) of the guitar

WARNING! Only change the Bluetooth® PIN if it is an absolute must! If you forget the PIN, then resetting the Bluetooth is only possible by taking the electronics out of the guitar!

Step 1. Press the GUITAR SELECTOR on the Start screen, and select the guitar you wish to use.

Step 2. Connect to the guitar. More info: Connecting to a guitar

Step 3. Press the GUITAR SETTINGS button on the Start screen.

Step 4. Press the NAME & PIN CHANGE Button under Bluetooth® Settings.

Step 5. Type in a new name and pin.

Step 6. Double check the data in the confirmation window, then press OK. The guitar disconnects immediately.

Step 7. Press the BT Settings button to bring up the list of your paired Bluetooth® devices and then unpair/forget your guitar.

Step 8. Go back to the app and connect to the guitar. Enter the new PIN when pairing begins.
